Schistó offers a surprise 10-moment tasting menu, celebrating the authentic flavors of the Douro.
Step into an intimate dining room with only 14 seats, where each dish is presented by the chefs at the heart of an open kitchen. Our menu showcases regional ingredients, sourced from Quinta da Vacaria and Quinta da Gregoça, complemented by meats and fish from local suppliers.
The menu follows the rhythm of nature, revealed only at dinner, with an optional wine pairing from exceptional wines of Quinta da Vacaria.

Recognized for his exceptional use of fresh, seasonal, and regional products, Vitor Matos is known for a cuisine that blends tradition and modernity. With a professional career spanning both Switzerland and Portugal, the chef from Trás-os-Montes oversees four Michelin-awarded restaurants, totaling five stars, making him the most awarded chef by the Michelin Guide in Portugal (2 Michelin stars for Antiqvvm, 1 star for 2Monkeys, 1 star for Blind, and 1 star for Oculto). He has also received prestigious titles such as Chef of the Year 2003 (Edições do Gosto), Chef of the Year 2013 (Wine Magazine Awards), Best Chef of Portugal 2014 (Arco Atlântico Gastro Awards), and the “Chefs de l’Avenir” award in 2011 from the International Academy of Gastronomy in Paris.
