Reflecting the Douro essence

Find yourself with nature, in harmony with the beauty of the Douro. Our rooms are designed to offer the most from each stay, characterized by its natural colors and materials – for a personal and lasting connection with the region. We cultivate an environment of tranquility and simplicity. Here, inner exploration and relaxation go hand in hand, providing a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Inspired by the enchanting landscape, our project seamlessly blends natural materials with contemporary lines, embodying the “Way of Silence” philosophy – a tribute to relaxation and nature stillness. Our tranquil and sophisticated color palette features shades of green, blue, grey, cream, and burgundy, harmonizing the interior and exterior to reflect the hotel’s organic essence.

Meticulously selected materials highlight our commitment to natural elegance, prominently featuring oak and wood throughout the design. Complementing these are straw, fabrics, iron, lacquered sheet metal, and exquisite stones like Rojo Alicante, Lioz, Verde Viana, and Guatemala. Tiles and micro cement further enrich the aesthetic, creating a serene ambiance.

Portugalidade

O toque português (the Portuguese touch) infuses our collection of decorative objects, featuring pottery, ceramics, basketry, and wood items sourced from local artisans and boutiques. Each piece is curated to enhance the hotel’s authenticity, capturing the charm of the Douro. In collaboration with Studio Astolfi, these elements create a distinctive, immersive experience.
